Moulton Reserves hosted Bugbrooke Reserves on a beautiful sunny day, which brought a crowd of 80, as Moulton looked to turn a poor run of form in to a positive result.
The game started evenly with both sides moving the ball quickly, looking to exploit the wide areas, with defences being on top for the early exchanges. After 17 minutes Moulton countered quickly finding Brogan on the edge of the box, finishing well with his left, it creeping in the far corner.
Moulton doubled their lead in the 22nd, as Moulton made the most of Bugbrooke having a player off for treatment, allowed them to play out with ease, again down the left, before it being cut inside to Jerry, who teed up Durrell who finished well.
Bugbrooke were rocked, and Jerry was twice brought down in the box, only for the ref to be their saviour and twice say play on.
Bugbrooke got themselves back in it, as a phantom deflection gave them a corner which was headed in, in the 38th, 2-1.
Moulton were fortunate not to conceded a penalty as the ref saw, Finlay dive through their striker to collect the ball, without touching him.
Bugbrooke did equalise in the 46th after a dodgy back pass allowed a maraudering midfielder to finish from close range.
Ht 2-2
An enforce sub, saw Jerry exit the field and Aedan enter. And it was almost an immediate impact, as he lost his full back and pulled it back for Brogan to finish from close range, in the 52nd minute, 3-2.
Bugbrooke changed tactic and put former Magpie, Kevin Shehi into the centre of park and everything positive they did went through him. Bugbrooke scored their second equaliser of the afternoon in 72nd minute, after a long diagonal was misjudged by Greg, allowing their winger to launch a rocket from the right winger, 30 yards out into the opposite corner.
Bugbrooke completed the scoring in the 75th when Shehi curved a shot in from just outside the box.
Moulton pushed for an equaliser, but without any clear cut chances the 3 points went to Bugbrooke.
