Moulton hosted Wellingborough Town Development team featuring former magpie Callum Lagdon in a midtable clash. Moulton looking to restore some pride after a midweek battering from Daventry.
Moulton started brightly, keeping lots of the ball but failing to create chances whilst Wellingborough were happy to absorb pressure and try and hit on the break. Moulton's best chances fell to Leon who hit it straight at the keeper while Jerry's volley just sailed over. Wellingborough had a couple of chances with Fin being forced to make a good save shortly before half time.

The second half panned out very similar to the first, with Moulton having the slightly better chances but failing to convert them. The best chance falling to Durrell at the back post. Whilst there were also shots from Brogan and Luke from distance that failed to find the net. Wellingborough also had chances to win, with their best in the last minute where they couldn't make the most of a 2 on 1, where experienced defending made use of the offside trap.

In a game that was dominated by defenses, it was fitting that upon returning to squad OAP Kairis was today's man of the match, but big shout out to Isaac who clearly discovered in he is really a left back!
