‘The Shopmates’ are currently languishing at the bottom of the Spartan South Midland Division One with 4 points from their 14 league games to-date (1 win v Cranfield (H) 3-1; 1 draw v Langford (H) 0-0; 12 defeats). Their last four league outings has seen them lose all against Irchester (A) 3-1 last weekend; Letchworth (A) 4-1; Eaton Soon (H) 2-1 and Buckingham (A) 2-1. On the brighter side, they did progress two weekends ago in the Junior Cup with a 5-0 win away at Burton Park Wanderers. In the other cup competitions they went out to Desborough Town 3-1 (A) in the Gladwish; Letchworth 5-1 (H) in the Div 1 Cup and Penn & Tyler Green 4-2 (H) in the FA Vase (who beat us in the next round (A) 4-2).
