Moulton make the relatively short trip of 13 miles over to Alfred Street, Irchester on Tuesday evening where they play Irchester United (KO 7:45). Having lost out on a fixture on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch, they will be looking to get back into league action and close in on the top teams.

Irchester, known as ’The Romans’, currently occupy top slot in the league with 30 pts from their 13 games (9 wins; 3 draws; 1 defeats). Their last 4 league games has seen them pick up a near maximum points, their only blemish, a 1-1 draw at home to Stotfold Res. The rest has seen them win against Ampthill away (1-0), a home win against Rothwell Corinthians (1-0) and a home win against Rushden & Higham (4-2). Mingled in with those league results was a 0-2 defeat by Roade in the Les Underwood Junior Cup at the end of September. Their only defeat this season was back in August when they lost away to Cranfield. Other than the Junior Cup, they have also suffered exits in the FA Vase and Gladwish Challenge Trophy.
