Moulton entertain Buckingham FC on Tuesday night (KO 7:45) before embarking on 5 away games in a row during September.

Buckingham currently occupy 17th spot in the league with 4 pts (1 win; 1 draw and 3 defeats). Goal difference of -5, having conceded 8 and scored 3. Their start to the campaign commenced reasonably well with a 3-0 win at home v Letchworth on the opening day of the season. However, since then they have suffered at the hands of Royston (away 0-2), Desborough (home 0-4), and last Saturday a 0-2 home defeat by Ampthill. Their draw was v Eaton Socon at home 0-0. They have played 4 of their 5 games at home (probably looking to get them out of the way before their pitch floods later in the year).

They ended up last season 13th with 42 pts, 10 wins; 12 draws and 16 defeats. Our games last season saw us win 5-0 at home in November with goals from Ansu, Boateng (F), Boateng (C), Elmore and Mensah (J) but lose 0-3 away in March on the “horrible night for football’.

Tuesday’s referee is scheduled to be Peter Kwak, who as far as I can see has not officiated a game involving Moulton.
