Moulton are back in league action on Tuesday (11th) when they entertain Desborough Town at Brunting Road (KO 7:45pm).
The ‘Blues’ currently sit behind Moulton in the league (5th place) having 60 pts from their 25 games, but with 4 games in hand on Moulton with 64 pts.

Desborough have won 3 of their last 4 league games (London Colney (H) 4-1; Royston Town Res (A) 2-1; Ampthill Town (H) 2-1 ), losing 1 at home to AFC Welwyn 0-4. Like Moulton last season, they progressed last week into the final of the Division 1 Cup with a 4-0 win away at AFC Welwyn and will play Wellingborough Whitworth in the final in April. They also progressed into the Final of the Les Underwood Junior cup with a 1-0 win away at Wellingborough Whitworth back at the beginning of February.
Back in January the two sides met at Brunting Road in the Division 1 Cup, with ‘The Blues’ coming out with a 5-1 win (Moulton Scorer: Matty Long). In the league match at the beginning of November we shared the points with a 1-1 draw at Desborough, Lewis Isom scoring after 51 mins only for Desborough to equalise 13 mins later.
Tuesday’s referee is Daniel Merrall who last officiated a match involving Moulton back in Sept 2022 when Moulton lost away at Letchworth Garden City Eagles 1-2 (goal from Ben Jackson).
